Living the volunteer spirit
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
GFWC works locally and nationally to bring about positive change with an unwavering dedication to community improvement throug volunteer service. Simply put, we impact lives, through acts large and small.
Collectively, we are Living the Volunteer Spirit.
Our general member meetings are held the second Monday from September through May at our clubhouse in Inverness.
Small groups meet throughout the month, participating in a book club, arts and crafts, lunch, dinner, outings and volunteer work.
Should you have an interest in attending or learning more, please contact our Membership Chair, Donna at 352-586-0924.
Our clubhouse is available for your private meeting or event. Please contact us for more information.
It is located at 1715 Forest Drive, Inverness (across the street from Whispering Pines Park).
